First of all, we wanna wish you a Merry Christmas! Keep reading for a production update and some information about fulfillment.
Our manufacturer finished all printed components early December and finished the plastic inserts + metal cubes sets mid December. Unfortunately, their wood supplier then faced a delay, pushing things back by about 2 weeks. They ensured us to do everything in their power to finish production as soon as possible.
Mid January, all games will be assembled, packed and ready for shipment. Part of the games will be transported straight from the manufacturer to our partners in Brazil, Japan, South-Korea and China. The largest part will head for our fulfillment partner in Hong Kong, from where distribution to the USA, Canada, EU partners and the rest of the world will take place.
In the meantime, our fulfillment partner is busy importing your orders in their system and deciding on the most reliable shipping method per country. They are also checking address details on possible mistakes. In case of any questions regarding missing or wrong address information, they will contact us. You would then be contacted by us directly via the e-mail address you provided.
We intended to share a timeline on fulfillment in this update as well. However, we don't want to rely too much on assumptions, during the global logistics delays that everyone currently has to deal with. For this reason, we decided to await reliable information on the vessels that will ship Carnegie to our partners and hubs all over the world.

We keep receiving requests here and there for address changes. Nobody wants their rewards to be send to their former home ;). We will manually process these address changes for one more week.
Once we enter the month of December next Wednesday, we can no longer accept any address change requests. Shipping out rewards to over 6,000 backers is no small task. We would like to prevent mistakes, so we don't wanna risk disrupting the process of our fulfiller. Thanks for your understanding!
Production finishes in December and shipping will follow shortly thereafter. Once we have a more accurate timeline, we will certainly share this with you in an update :).

In this update, we want to share some exciting production footage from our factory! The high-speed printing process creates quite a bit of noise, so please be aware when watching the videos below :D.
The printed A2 paper is double-checked and later it will be pasted onto thick cardboard and cut in 4.
This modern printing line consists of multiple printers, each adding a single color to the sheet.
In this update, we would also like to clarify that now addresses are locked, we close pre-orders as well. That will happen this on Monday, after which the address file is finalized and will be uploaded to the fulfillment company we are cooperating with. They will handle most of the shipments, except for those to backers in countries where we got a partner publisher or local fulfillment company.
Please note that this is the last chance to answer your survey if you haven't done so. We cannot ship rewards to backers who didn't provide their address details or didn't finalize their payment in Backerkit.

This quick update is to make you all aware that we just sent out the final notice for address lockdown in Backerkit. There are 48 hours left to make sure you have completed your reward survey and your address details are correct. Naturally, we can no longer accept cancellations from that moment onwards. Most likely, you have already completed your survey months ago and if you haven’t moved, you are all set ;).
If you haven’t completed your survey, please do so, since we need your address details in order to send you your rewards. Please check your email for further instructions.
Production is in progress and will be finished in December. For most countries, we will use fulfillment company services. As this is a pretty big logistical operation, we need final addresses early to make sure we can properly prepare for this. That also means we can no longer accept cancellations. As we come closer to the end of this year, we will be able to provide you with a more accurate date on when you can expect your game(s) to arrive at your doorstep :D.
