Dear backers,
We are very grateful for all your support, suggestions, accolades and more, it's only day 5 of the campaign, and we have reached yet another stretch goal this weekend! Every copy of Carnegie Deluxe will now feature a total 24 extra department tiles! We are getting close to unlocking the last 4 extra tiles, which, when we make it, will effectively double the amount of department tiles present in the game! We want to give you a more detailed look at some of these departments in a next update, but first …
New (social) stretch goals.
We have been overwhelmed with all your wonderful suggestions for which possible stretch goals. Both through your playtests on Board Game Arena, and through the comments and messages we have received. Some may have been more ambitious than others, but here are some we have come up with, together with Xavier Georges, to make this edition of Carnegie truly special:
1/ The first stretch goal we have added is custom, silkscreened VP Markers. Right now, players use one of their 30 disks to mark their progress during and at the end of the game. This is a social stretch goal, meaning we will unlock this neat addition if we hit 2500 followers on our Facebook Page, 2800 Followers on Instagram AND 500 fans of the game on BoardgameGeek .
2/ For stretch goal number 2 we are adding a very special relief print on the Box cover. This will make the wax seal on the cover feel like and actual seal. Our printer will use special ink and printing techniques to achieve this effect, making the box a really unique item in your game cabinet. And don't worry, it will be durable enough, so it won't wear off if you place it next to your other games!
3/ After the wax seal, we are adding a set of premium card sleeves for all the cards in the game. AND, since we get this question a lot: YES, the custom insert WILL fit all sleeved cards!
4/ And to end things for this update: if we reach € 280,000, we will add a set of 4 Donation Tiles, which Xavier Georges is working on as you read this, slaving away in the basement we have him locked up in … I mean,ahem. Never mind. These are not the entrepreneurs you're looking for. These tiles will feature all new donations for each of the four departments: education, human rights, welfare and health. This way, we add even more variety to the game, and you can combine these with the existing ones as you please!
We hope you will like these new stretch goals. We are still brooding on even more ideas thanks to your suggestions, and will reveal them as we unlock more stretch goals. So spread the word to your friends and family that maybe be interested in this game. ;)
